CARING FOR THE HOMELESS

Music is a universal language through its use, Hip Hop 4 Homeless brings awareness to the situation of homelessness in Oklahoma and assists in fulfilling the needs of the homeless. Since it’s inception, the community has been encouraged to participate by:
-Volunteering to assist with the event
-Donating clothing items and hygiene products
-Becoming an event Sponsor
-Giving monetary gifts

Each year this event helps hundreds of homeless adults, youths and families. In conjunction with Neighborhood Soul’gers (the event’s official non-profit oversight organization), Stop The Violence, the Salvation Army and thanks to the support of the Oklahoma community, the success of Hip Hop 4 Homeless will be ongoing and the lives of countless individuals affected by homelessness will be touched.

STOP THE VIOLENCE

Stop The Violence is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to bring awareness and resources to aid in the prevention of and intervention of violence. Stop The Violence supports all efforts working toward the education, prevention, and elimination of Violence and its emotional scars in children.

We realize that this is just one avenue toward a solution to the plight of our youth. We believe long-term plans, cooperating businesses, charitable organizations, community churches, state and local governing bodies working together with one goal in mind, which is our youth. We want to alter their paths of violence and show them the positive. We Care!
